“Salsa and rock music help young viewers learn some basic words and phrases in Spanish. Enthusiastic performers present basic words and phrases in both English and Spanish. Repetition encourages retention of what was learned. A fun way to be introduced to a new language.”—Parents Guide to Childrens Media Award

“The basic vocabulary and sentence structures that are drilled into us in Spanish class come alive in this video. The characters are as enjoyable to see as they are to hear, and the music is pleasant. The video component made a world of difference to the student testers—even the most reluctant participants spoke out freely when they could see the sentences and phrases written on the screen. Any learning tool that elevates student involvement to 100% is a valuable one indeed.”—Parents Choice Recommended

Thank goodness for our public library carrying Rock N Learn Spanish videos. I cant seem to borrow it anymore; I think I told too many people about it. I was raving about how my son was learning Spanish by watching this video when he was only 2 years old. He wasnt speaking English very good yet he knew his colors and numbers in Spanish. Now, he knows how to greet, and ask for the time. be 4 in April.—parent

What is the best program to use to learn Spanish?

My husband and I are wanting to learn to speak Spanish fluently. Not only is it somewhat of a life goal (to be fluent in another language), but both of our jobs would benefit from it. I know the best way is to listen, read, and try to talk in Spanish. But of course you have to have somewhat of a base line to get started. What programs or any other tools have you had success with?

What’s the best/reccomended way to learn Spanish?

I live in the UK right now and I plan on moving to Spain after I get my University Degree. I’m going to be a Business Major, I’m 17 right now so I have plenty of time to learn.

I just don’t know what’s the best way to learn, the degree I am doing is a Bachelor’s that has an option of doing a Minor in Spanish but I don’t think that will be enough.

So what’s the best way for me to learn Spanish?

By far rthe best way for you to learn Spanish to a good standard in a reasonablly short period of time is to take an Instensive or semi-intensive course over here in Spain.
You will take a varierty of lessons every week – maybe between 30 and 45 Hours, but these will not all be done in the classroom – you will be taken shopping, to the Theatre, out to Dinner etc… to enable you not only to get a feel for the Grammar and Vcab, but to learn also about the correct Pronunciation, The Spanish Culture and how the language is used.
You can also elect to stay in the Home of a Spanish speaking family, so that during your stay in Spain you will be fully Immersed in the language and will interact with very few English Speakers.
This full Immersion / Intensive training is generally tailored to suit your requirements in terms if time of year, duration of stay, location etc… – The real trick is keeping practicing the language when you are back in the UK.

Learn SPANISH

Jump Start Basics
Spanish
Jump Start videos have been recorded in each foreign country, and feature real people (not actors) in real life situations such as restaurants, shops, taxis, hotels and banks. You will experience these situations as if you were there, and hear people talking directly to you. The phrases you need are then presented on the screen, and you will have as much time as you wish to repeat and learn them. It’s like having your personal tutor and is an ideal way to learn.

What is the best and most accurate way to learn spanish?

I have never taken a second language, but where I live everyone speaks spanish. Also, I hear there are different types of spanish depending on where your from so how do I learn a universal way to at least communicate on a basic level?

best way i know is to immerse yourself in it. see if you can find a way to spend time with some people your age who speak only spanish. bring a basic vocabulary book, and forget the fact that you start out knowing nothing. there is nothing that teaches you as fast or as effectively as necessity.

What is the best and fastest way to learn spanish?

took two years of spanish in high school and i tried like those workbooks that are suppose to teach you spanish and also looked at a few on-line sites never really tried one. I still cannot seem to learn it i live in a area where there are a lot of spanish speaking people and i feel i would benefit and be able to get better jobs if i were bilingual. any ideas on good ways to learn or good programs that teach you a new languagee plz.

I think that practicing Spanish with someone who is a fluent speaker may help you. Someone speaking to you in Spanish will force you to think what you’re going to say and how you’re going to form your sentence. Don’t forget to memorize the gender of the words! Very important.
