What are some good recipes from Spanish speaking countries?
I have a project for Spanish, but it doesn’t have to just be from Mexico or Spain! Any dish ideas from any Spanish speaking country would be most appreciated!
Fried Plantaines (also known as Tostones or Fried Bananas) are always delicious. You can buy them cheap at the market, peel them, cut them, pound them with a big spoon (so they’re flat), season with garlic salt, and fry. They’re delicious and popular among many hispanic speaking countries.
You can also never go wrong with Yellow Rice & Beans. A typical favorite!
Spain – paella and the dessert flan
Mexico – Empanadas
Cuba – Black beans and rice
I found the link below that might help you in finding other recipes from South American countries.
Good luck!!!
